The New York Jets made some big splashes in the draft and free agency this year. Despite their last year's record, they have a very polarizing team capable of putting up big numbers. I don't know if their new talent will translate into wins right away, but that's not what we care about. We care about FANTASY FOOTBALL!

Quarterback - Sam Darnold
Sam Darnold was the man coming out of college, widely regarded as the consensus number 1 prospect the year before he was drafted. Of course, he fell a little to number 3 and underwhelmed in his rookie season, but with all the new pieces in place, there's a chance for major success here. The talent is obviously there and the team is starting to come together, so taking a later round flier on him instead of safe guys like Joe Flacco or Nick Foles might be worth it. Don't expect Patrick Mahomes numbers though.

Running Back - Le'Veon Bell
This one hurts. Despite what my friends in my league might say, if Le'Veon Bell played football last year, I WOULD HAVE WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP. Without a doubt. I mean, I would have beaten half the teams with my running backs along (Saquon + Le'Veon = WIN). But moving past that now. Le'Veon is on a new team now in a very different situation. He doesn't have the Hall of Fame quarterback or superstar receiver to take pressure off of him and he doesn't have the top-3 offensive line to give him the time to burst through the holes. I don't know if Le'Veon's famous "patient" running style will completely translate, but as one of the game's most talented RBs, something will translate. And a little more specifically, that something will translate to mid RB1 numbers. Draft at the end of round 1 and hope Le'Veon doesn't miss a beat. It also doesn't hurt the rest of the guys on this list to have a mega stud running back demanding attention from the defense.

Wide Receivers - Robby Anderson, Jamison Crowder, Quincy Enunwa
This one is tough because I honestly don't know how Sam Darnold will do. However, I strongly believe that Darnold will take a major step forward like Mitch Trubisky did last year, and that will obviously translate into production out of an underrated receiving corps. Anderson is the stereotypical deep threat that every team needs to open up the field, and if Darnold isn't afraid to unload the ball a few times a game, expect Anderson to put up big numbers on a few catches. He will be volatile, but I think it will average out to low-end WR2 numbers. After a disappointing year, Jamison Crowder will look to bounce back and will play meaningful snaps in the slot. Maybe mid WR3 numbers? I wouldn't expect huge numbers, but I think he will move the chains. Quincy Enunwa is going to get his catches. He won't get 100 yards a game or score 15 touchdowns for you, but he will get you solid WR2 PPR numbers.
Tight End - Chris Herndon
I've heard the name, but to be honest, I had to look up Herndon's stats to get an idea of what he did last year (40 catches, 500 yards, 4 TDs). For a guy I've barely heard of, those are pretty good. A viable late-round sleeper on a team with a chance to make it big this year.

Defense -
I think the defense really has a chance to make a jump this year. The team made a brilliant decision by bringing in CJ Mosley from the Ravens, a superstar ILB who will make everyone around him better. The team also drafted Quinnen Williams, a guy who will be one of the best interior linemen in football on day one. Add them to Jamal Adams and Trumaine Johnson in the secondary, and you got a recipe for success.
Final Prediction -
Outside of Le'Veon Bell, I don't think there is a sure thing on this team. Le'Veon may even underwhelm with a below average offensive line. If everything comes together for them through, they have all the pieces needed to churn out big numbers, both in real life and fantasy football. If you are a Jets fan, the future sure is looking bright.
