Week 4 Fantasy Predictions

Instead of writing a recap last weeks' performances, I'm going to go over a few sleepers who can have potentially big weeks.

Last week was no fluke for Danny Dimes

Daniel Jones (QB Giants) - I think I might have spelled his last name wrong. I'm reading its that it's actually 'Dimes' but I'll keep it as Jones for now. For everyone who thought that he was a reach at 6, including myself, we were proven terribly wrong. A 4 touchdown performance in your first NFL start will do that. The Giants are playing the Redskins, one of the league's worst defenses, and Jones has a healthy Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram at his disposal. Add in that Saquon Barkley, the NFL's most talented running back, will miss the foreseeable future with an ankle injury, and big numbers through the air are looking likely for Danny Dimes. Also, running quarter backs are fantasy cheat codes.

Rex Burkhead will return major value if he takes control of the Patriots backfield

Rex Burkhead (RB Patriots) - It pains me to say this, but Sony Michel isn't working out. Yes, he racks up touchdowns with the best of them, but he's averaging less that 2 YPC and all the TDs are looking like more of a byproduct of the Pats' elite offense than Michel's talent. In comes Burkhead, who's a swiss army knife back who has consistantly performed for the Patriots. I don't think the Bills give the Patriots any problems this week and Burkhead picks up a majority of the backfield touches. And in this offense, that can mean big things.

With Terry McLaurin out, Paul Richardson can step right into the role as Washington's number 1 receiver

Paul Richardson (WR Redskins) - I believe that the Daniel Jones led Giants are going to put up big time points. Yes, maybe the Redskins get blown out this week, but the Giants also have a bad defense and a large deficit for a team means more passes thrown. Richardson corralled 8 of his 9 targets last week for over 80 yards and a TD, and I think that this week, that targets number can cross into the double digits with Terry McLaurin out. For anyone who knows fantasy football, targets for wide receivers always translate into success.

Dawson Knox can return big value at a thin position

Dawson Knox (TE Bills) - Who? Ok maybe I'm getting a little away from myself here and picking a tight end who only got 4 targets last week. But you gotta be bold at such a shallow position. Last week, Knox made the most of his targets, catching 75% of them and turning them into 67 yards and a score. I think Josh Allen is a wildly underrated quarterback and will be playing down for most of the game against the Patriots. The league-best Pats defense might be a little stingy, but I think the extra passes coming his way will translate into start-worthy numbers on a George Kittle-less bye week.
